I'm so glad you're here.
I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives. As a compassionate and dedicated therapist, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for you to navigate challenges, heal emotional wounds, and embrace positive change. My mission is to help you explore, grow, and thrive by offering personalized therapy tailored to your unique needs.

Hello!

A Personal Path to Becoming a Therapist

My passion for therapy and helping others stems from my own personal experiences. Overcoming my own challenges with perfectionism and over-achieving ignited a deep desire to support others on their healing journeys. Through extensive education, training, and practical experience, I have developed a profound understanding of the human mind, emotions, and behavior. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients, freeing them of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism, guiding them toward personal growth and emotional well-being.

The energy of the universe has put me in the exact place that I need to be to fulfill my life passion of helping and supporting diverse groups of people on their journey to self-discovery and healing. I approach my practice with an open mind and without borders. I enjoy the challenge and growth that come with working with any client and any issue, but my work with adult women struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and the stress that comes along with high-achieving personalities is my sweet spot . In my past experience I have appreciated work with transitional aged youth with coming-of-age issues, veteran and veteran issues, minority issues, working to resolve inter-generational trauma, and work with young adults struggling with substance abuse and addiction. My work is eclectic, implementing various treatment models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Music Therapy, Somatic Therapy and more!

In working together, I don’t see myself as playing a role as therapist. Rather, I see our relationship as a collaboration and partnership, using research-based approaches that are proven to help resolve your needs, which are each individual and unique as you.  My approach is YOU focused, and strength based. My hope is that you leave each session feeling a bit more equipped and confident in your own strength and ability to persevere and be resilient through life’s most challenging and complicated moments.

In our work together I will always be my true authentic self and bring my life experiences, coupled with my clinical expertise and “gut” to every session. I will push you, challenge you, and stretch the perimeters of your comfort zone. Most importantly I will be there to remind you that you are not on this journey alone and I am here to support you every step of the way.

I am a true believer in the mind-body connection and do my best (we all have our guilty pleasures, and nobody is perfect lol) to live an active and healthy lifestyle in order to maintain my physical and mental health. On my free time you can find me creating memories with my family and friends, participating in hot yoga, working out, getting a massage, or EATING! I will also never turn down a comedy show, poetry slam, or a Beyoncé concert (those ticket prices though?)

Thank you for allowing me to take this journey alongside you. I am looking forward to getting to know you!
