Individual therapy

This is your one-on-one self -care time with me. Grab a cup of your favorite hot beverage, light a candle, turn on your diffuser, and let the calming background music flow. I’ll hold space for you to lay down your burdens. You will feel safe enough to laugh, cry, vent, curse, sit in silence, question your decisions, question others, admit your flaws, fall apart, pull it together, and make it make sense before our time together is up. Everything is welcomed in the therapeutic setting. This is your judgement free zone to pick things up, pull them apart, and lay them down.

Group Therapy

Just as our ancestors gathered and healed in community so should we. Group therapy can be a supplement to your individual therapy or can be a stand-alone service. It’s an opportunity to be surrounded by others navigating similar issues. In the group environment you will learn that you are not alone in the struggle, no matter how real it is. Group members will learn from each other, support one another, hold space for each other, and most importantly, we will surround each other in love and light.

Supervision-consultation

One of the things I enjoy most about being an LICSW is the opportunity to give back to the profession through supervising and mentoring upcoming social workers. My supervision style is structured yet collaborative. My overall goal as a supervisor is for you to feel supported in developing an understanding of your own therapeutic style and the “type” of therapist you want to be while increasing confidence in your own skills and clinical decision making. In consulting with my peers, my overall goal is to model ethical and professional behavior, increase the quality of service we provide our clients, prevent harm, and evaluate our practices by providing fair and constructive feedback.
